Terror In Tokyo Divas Unleashed finally broadcast the long awaited Tokyo Pay-Per-View this past weekend. The night was filled with many surprises and spectacular matches, including Star facing off against Veronica, Laura defending her Stripped Championship and the epic rematch between Katie Kooper and Makaze in a No Disqualification: Bronx Street Fight.
The surprise performer for the event turned out to be Beyonce Knowles who lit up the stage at the beginning of the show and went on to meet several of the divas during the evening. Rain presented the Diva of the Month Award for June to Mercedes Vargas and Tara Lee made quite an impact during the show. The event concludes Divas Unleashed's second Asian Tour after which they will return to the U.S. for normal broadcasting in the lead-up months to Forsaken Destiny V. Forsaken Destiny V As the months draw closer to Divas Unleashed's biggest spectacle of the year, many have begun to anticipate what dream matches will go down in history at the event. One of the most speculated appearances is that of DU Hall of Famer, Star who has yet to be defeated during a match at Forsaken Destiny. Many argue Star's disappearance from in ring activity could cost her the match, or could cause her to not attend, much less be a part of Forsaken Destiny.
This year, as will all previous years, Forsaken Destiny will take place in Las Vegas, this year it will be in the newly remodeled arena at the First Lady Resort & Casino. To relive 2007's Forsaken Destiny IV, click the following link Forsaken Destiny IV
Femmy's Date Pushed Back
After several weeks of no official word from Divas Unleashed headquarters, the Femininity Wrestling Awards (Also knows as the FWA's or The Femmys) have been postponed pending a press release delivered by Maya Okosaki on the front steps of the First Lady in Las Vegas. Maya went on to say that there have been several major scheduling conflicts that have prevented the event from taking place, but that the event will most definitely happen this year.
Agent Provocateur, who has replaced Victoria's Secret as the official sponsor of the event is believed to have withheld funding for the event pending giant Victoria's Secret banners being removed from the First Lady. The Femmys, which generally coincide with Forsaken Destiny, have been a staple of Divas Unleashed for many years and this will be the sixth annual event in the company's history.
