Josh Diaz: Hello and welcome to Late Night with Natalie and as you can see, this week I'll be candidly asking the questions. I’m sitting here with new Divas Unleashed signee Lightning. Lightning thanks for your time and I’ll jump right in the deep end with my first question, how is it to be back in the world of wrestling?
Lightning: Well Josh, of course its great to be back. Looking forward to my first match. Every time a day goes by, that gets closer.
Josh Diaz: Speaking of your first match, and your many matches to come, do you think you’ll be able to achieve the status of such divas as Mya, Taylor and Kaci, whom of which are all key players in this federation?
Lightning: Of course. I have talked to Kaci and she seems a nice lass. Josh, I remember in UWF & GWF that I was the Women’s champion for over four months. Now, not digging up the past, but that means I was good enough. I have shown I am good enough to overcome Taylor as shown at the PPV, Mya will be soon.
Josh Diaz: The GWF was your most notorious federation and how is it reuniting with the old friends and foes?
Lightning: GWF was most certainly my most successful federation I have been in. Reuniting with the likes of Tequila, Crystal and Tara Lee has been nice. I have had many feuds with the likes of those and still friends. The better person won each time.
Josh Diaz: We’ve seen you keep the fans puzzled with mysterious antics, you doused the whole roster in custard and had Taylor hit with a lightning bolt, from that do you think there is a lot expected of you, and expected for you to succeed?
Lightning: There is a lot expected of me from when I signed with Divas Unleashed. From my past and reputation I have a lot to prove still, and I want this federation to be my next domination. So, yeah there is a lot expected, but I knew that and its not going to put me off whatsoever. I’m ready and I’m going to prove that at my matches.
Josh Diaz: Now coming from a fans point of view that’s never watched GWF or UWF and conclusively has never seen you in action, how would you describe to them what they can expect to see in your matches?
Lightning: Well not many hasn’t seen or heard of me. However, for the few that haven’t expect some highflying moves that take the crowd by storm. Whilst some submission is thrown in, mostly highflying though. Don’t expect me to be grappling and slapping opponents on the floor and rolling around.
Josh Diaz: Whether it’s in or out of the ring, you’ll always be compared to other divas and you will most likely be criticized that you’re not doing it the way Star or Mya does? Will that affect you or your antics in any way?
Lightning: Of course not. Each wrestler has their own way of doing things, and Star and Mya can do what they like and I can do what I like. We will find which one of our ways is better when a match is set with us.
Josh Diaz: That’s something I’ll look forward to, now going back to the GWF days is there any possibility we will be seeing Thunder at your side?
Lightning: Well I don’t think he is quite a Diva is he Josh?
Josh Diaz: Yes but we’ve already seen Jake EB Wild doing crazy antics in Divas Unleashed and Jackman even murdered his girlfriend Indigo or do you think it’s better to stand out on your own than with somebody riding along with you?
Lightning: Well it worked pretty successfully in GWF. Well I don’t see much of Thunder anymore, we made one hell of a team. We go out for the occasional drink and catch up and the like, but I cant see him coming back, but I cant say if he does or not
Josh Diaz: You a return there. How do you feel that you shared you limelight at Arachnophobia with Star, does that make you feel a little worried that people will be more interested in her, or can you make the fans want to see you?
Lightning: I’m not really bothered about that little slag. That is one woman the crowd will not want to see after she turned her back on them. How can you compare Lightning to Star? I made the biggest impact at Arachnophobia, I made the crowd turn their heads, I made them stare when I went back through the crowd. I know what the crowd want.
Josh Diaz: Lightning, thank you for your time. Are there any last words for anyone out there?
Lightning: Well for Taylor really. When you have recovered from your little beating at the PPV, remember the name Lightning because you will be striked again before long
