Ring Attire: Roxie wears for a ring attire a black and pink singlet with white boots. On the way to the ring, she wears a jacket as well as her hair tied up with a scarf. When not in the ring, she's always wearing clothes of her favorite and only era: the 50s. Seriously it's unhealthy.
Ring Entrance: "Earth Angel" by Marvin Berry plays out of the PA as boos respond in kind. From a behind the side of the stage curtain walks out Roxie Rebel. She looks entirely unphased at the harsh welcome from the crowd, walking past fans mugging for a chance at a verbal spar. Roxie take off her pink leather jacket with her name on the back then tightens a hair scarf. She is wearing her black & pink singlet with white boots. She throws her jacket on the ground as she enters the ring. Roxie leans back against a turnbuckle as she wait for the match to start.
Biography: Like someone out of a Hollywood movie, Roxie Rebel was raised underground in a bomb shelter by her overprotective mother. The eccentric woman had seen enough of what modern society had to offer for her and her children. In 1985 she locked away her family into the a huge bomb shelter constructed by her father in the late 50s. It had all the touches of the days of her youth, a better time when things weren't so crass and vulgar. A time, she decided, would be best to raise her two children (three year old Johnny and one year old Roxie) in.
And so, Roxie grew up only knowing the misguided teachings of her mother as she spoke of a time that would rival the biblical Eden. A time of peace, perfection, sensibility, and manners. Before the hippies, funded by the commies, destroyed it with their anarchist ways. These beliefs were so ingrained into her mind, that she accepted them as gospel. Death? Disease? Famine? All products of us being punished because of the hippies.
After being forced to leave the bomb shelter to gather supplies, Roxie burst into tears when she saw the evils that her mother spoke of. She couldn't believe that people would go on living in the modern era when perfection was in our very hands. It was at this point she decided that she was going to fight back against the evil modernization that has claimed American and the world. By the only way she knew how: she was going to put on some tights and fight back just as Mae Young & The Fabulous Moolah did before her... Before they were corrupted by the modern era!
Not long after her declaration was blessed by her mother, she met for the first time her cousin Colleen Roades. In her, Roxie saw a companion that would help her climb her way to the top in what is one of the best known wrestling federations in the world as well as the very symbol of modern women: Divas Unleashed.
Roxie entered into Divas Unleashed with little fan fare though it did not take long for the newcomers, Rebel & Roades, to capture the Tag Team titles. They would go on to hold the belts for a short, yet respectable reign before losing them to Blonde Ambition.
During their time as a team, cracks in the cousins' relationship began to form. After a few singles losses and, ultimately the loss of the team team belts, Colleen decided to quit DU. This action, coinciding with being abandoned by her brother, left Roxie alone in DU as a small fish in a big ocean. She was doomed to be engulfed and digested by the machine... Or so some thought.
But just as night got it's darkest the dawn emerged in a strange female benefactor named Sequoia. With this unseen woman and a vicious mean streak a mile wide, will the former “Time Traveler” fail in her goals or will all rue the day Roxie Rebel got serious?
Personality: Roxie has sought to live her life in the society that she has been raised to be believe is perfect in every way, the era of 50s America. She lives in this near bubble as if she was in a time wrap and past the point of obsession. A mere negative comment directed in the way of her beloved decade has been known to send her into a flurry of comments about how perfect it really was, though the arguments may not be all that truthful or logical. In an almost apparent contrast, she also tries her hardest to get the attention of the guys. Likely due to a warped belief that being the "most wanted diva" will give weight to her side. She thinks of her tag team parent and cousin, Colleen, as someone that hasn't been tainted by the evils of modern society. One could say she has taken Colleen under her wing to pass on her dogma, but it could also be likely that Colleen is one of her very few friends.
