Name: Veronica Valiant

Height: 5'11"

Weight: 130lbs

Age: 28

Hometown: Greenwich Village, New York

Ring Attire: Veronica keeps her white-blonde hair tied back into a ponytail that reaches the base of her neck, with two bangs at the front curving down toward her cheeks. Her lip gloss is peach in colour. She wears a one-piece outfit made from form-fitting rubber, in a dark blue/silver colour, with sizable open areas around the shoulders, back and midsection. It has three buckled straps and a 'bra' of similar material across the front to keep it on. The gloves are made of similar material; these are a dark red/purple colour and reach past her elbows, also featuring numerous buckles. Her boots have a short heel, are the same colour as the one piece, and reach up to the middle of her thighs, with the laces running all the way up the front before tying at the top.

Ring Entrance: As "The World Is Not Enough" by Garbage begins to play, the audience becomes shrouded beneath royal blue mood lighting, whilst blazing white spotlights illuminate the entire ramp. Once the lyrics kick in, Veronica struts out from the back, paying no attention whatsoever to the fans, with Jun Takada following behind her at a respectful distance, only darting to her side when one of her numerous phones or pagers goes off. Just short of the ring, Veronica will stop and lazily extend a hand to Takada, who in turn hands her a pen and a clipboard loaded with insurance forms, none of which Veronica bothers to read before signing them and handing them back. She hops up the steps, saunters across the apron and makes to step into the ring but instead pauses momentarily, to gaze out over the audience in disdain. Then, finally, she steps into the ring, before stepping to her corner and reclining lazily against it. Not once does she spare her opponent(s) a glance during this.

Biography: Veronica Valiant originally hails from Hawaii, being conceived whilst her parents, Linda and Maximilian Valiant, were on their honeymoon. The couple liked the surroundings so much they decided to move there full-time shortly before Veronica was born. Alas, this would prove to be a bad decision in hindsight, as four years later, a tropical storm ravaged the island, destroying the family home and burying Linda and Max inside. Veronica was recovered from the ruins, injured but alive, and after the funeral - a ceremony she didn't understand in the slightest - Veronica went to live with a distant aunt in New York.

Living off the considerable inheritance left behind by her deceased parents, Veronica studied at Yale, achieving a joint Master's in Law and Educational Leadership, as well as several awards for her efforts on the institution's various sports teams. Post-graduation, it seemed like the world was at her feet - but for the longest time, Veronica kept her head down, jumping between many jobs that seemed beneath her academic brilliance. Culture correspondent for several glossy magazines, personal shopper, office clerk; some rumours say she even spent time working at a Burger King, though this has never been confirmed, and likely never will be.

However, in late 2008, Veronica was suddenly being plastered all over the front pages of tech-journals and the Financial Times, after she acquired the stock majority of rising computer hardware manufacturers Electro-Online, plc, and made drastic, company-wide changes that saw many staff laid off or reassigned, and a shift in priorities towards supplying parts for use by the military and NASA, amongst other government-sponsored groups. This made Electro-Online very profitable indeed, and raised public awareness of both the comoany and Veronica herself. The September '08 issue of Wired Magazine, which featured a distinctive cover image of a reclining Veronica naked on a waterbed, her modesty concealed only by a few circuit boards, was the first issue in the last three years to sell out on all printings.

Needless to say, Veronica's decision to join Divas Unleashed proved to be a popular talking point in some circles, though many wondered why she would bother to do something potentially dangerous for comparatively little money when she was already well on her way to multi-millionaire status. In a surprisingly honest press release, Veronica said it was "for the ROFLs."

Following DU's lengthy period of inactivity, Veronica made her debut at the 2008 Exile Christmas Special with a decisive victory over Autumn Leigh. This set the tone for her work in the league over the next few months, leading up to her Askai Title victory at Control of the Knife in February '09 and beyond, even as her list of enemies grew; particular mention should be made to Mercedes Vargas, who engaged Veronica in a decidedly public war of words over Veronica's comments regarding that year's Feminity Wrestling Awards. All good things must come to an end, however, and Veronica's perfect run was derailed via a loss to DU Hall of Famer, Star, in a show-stealing match at Terror in Tokyo in June.

Fortunately for Veronica, that loss did not halt her momentum, and the firing of Crystal Deymonaz at the hands of new DU President Tara Lee provided a golden opportunity for Veronica to finally prove that she can match her boasts with talent. Over the course of DU's West Coast Tour, Veronica steadily advanced through the Tara Lee Invitational tournament, outlasting such names as KibbyD, Courtney Monroe and Icenique - and surprisingly allying herself with former foe Mercedes - on her way to the final at October's Divacide PPV, where, with an admittedly 'shocking' bit of skullduggery, Veronica defeated Laura Seton to claim the vacant Unleashed Championship.

Personality: Veronica views compassion as a weakness, and has constructed a nigh-impenetrable wall of callous behaviour and sneering arrogance to defend herself from such failings. She is absolutely convinced of her own superiority over all other lifeforms, and is never satisfied so long as even one person refuses to bow to her will. She is vain, greedy, and takes a sadistic pleasure in the suffering of others. Despite all this, it is possible to earn Veronica's respect; however, this requires a delicate process of humbling her without triggering her ungodly rage in the process. Though she rarely - if ever - admits as much out loud, she does care about her second-in-command Jun Takada, and to a lesser extent, her personal assistant, Melanie Guiterrez. Beyond this, however, other people are at best irrelevant, and at worst a pain in the neck to her.
